Chinese early 18th century famille verte tapering ovoid baluster vase made during the reign of the Emperor Kangxi at the kilns at Jingdezhen for export to Europe.
Excellent enamelling to show four sprays of flowers including the Chrysanthemum and peony.
The chrysanthemum represents pleasure and entertainment, and the peony. The sprays are issuing from rockwork with grasses around their sides
Around the top and the bottom of the vase are shaped panels in the ruyi head style of sprigs of blossom and also around the base is the typical hatched pattern associated with Kangxi Famille Verte porcelain
