Description Circular shape slipware earthenware dish press molded with a figure on horseback brandishing a musket and sword enhanced with dark brown and chestnut slip against a cream colored ground. The formal rouletted border inside the pie crust rim is an added decorative feature of this exceptionally rare and stunning example of English slipware.
Condition Unrestored, with some surface wear commensurate with age
