Description Chinese 17th century blue and white small saucer plate. Excellent painting of deities at leisure.
The painting is excellent with great detail and humour.
The figures are sat under a pine tree for longevity playing Mah Jong
The rim has the typical brown edge painted on for definition and a belief that it made the rim less likely to frit
The underside has stylised clouds to edge and a four character mark that reads 'Made in the Greatest Ming Dynasty' It is a rare mark as it says greatest not great.
Condition Perfect small glaze flaws
